About implementation of Course Review (old class questionnaire) related to the first quarter subject (request)

To all faculty members,
First Quarter Course Directors,

Thank you for your cooperation in managing the course review.

We will conduct the “Course Review” in all classes in this first quarter, so please look at the instruction below, and ask your students in person or in online classes to answer the “Course Review.”

The name of the “Class Questionnaire” has been changed to “Course Review” since the 2022 academic year. There is no change in the response period for students, but there has been a change in the timing of disclosing results to course instructors and entering comments, which will now be done twice a year, once in the first and second semesters, after grades are entered.The results will be available to the public for a period of one year from the day after the comment entry period ends.

his “Course Review” is intended to give feedback to each class as well as university education to improve faculty’s lectures and university educational management system. In addition, it helps students self-development by looking back what skill and/or ability they acquire in each class through the Portfolio system, where part of the answers of “Course Review” are accumulated.
Whenever possible, please set aside time for students during the in-person or online class to complete the survey.

Classes surveyed: All classes offered in this first quarter (including practical subjects)

Time for response: Monday, May 30th to Friday, June 24th in 2022.
* Courses whose end date has been changed will differ from the normal period.

Requests: Ask students to answer the “Course Review,” and whenever possible, set aside time for students during the in-person or online class to complete the survey in the last two weeks of the first quarter.
In addition, we can respond from outside the university, such as at home, so please respond accordingly.
How to access: Log in from the NU-Web system, go to “Questionnaire” and then “Course Review”.

*Students will receive an email from the Center at the start of the survey. For those who do not answer the Questionnaire by 14days before the deadline for response (Friday, June 10th, 2022),

a reminder email will be sent.

*Faculty members can view the current response rate for your class from the NU-Web system.
